I know I've been neglecting you folks lately. I had a good reason. I should update the totally-secret section on the forum fairly soon and share it with you.
Not really huge news for this site, but just a thing I think you may want to take a look at, down at Scary.ru . Notepad papers and 18 animators - what could possibly come of this?
It isn't as innocent and selfless recommendation as you may suspect, though - I contributed myself.
Look, a minor update in the Junkyard.
For those who don't happen to check the galleries every day, there have been some updates in photography, in Industrial (mouse2, tractor), People (red, ppl-tractor) and Manips.
Right. For me the summer is pretty much over. I'll try to keep it short and sweet about anything remotely interesting since the last update.
Been to (in fact just returned) 2-week workshops at Gobelins, Paris, the primary source of European manpower for Disneys, Pixars and the other major US animation/special effects studios. The people do some real impressive toons themselves too sometimes. Quite a trip.
Early September, Polsupah is going to star briefly in an American TV Show pilot Late Night Toons alongside 4 other finalists with a chance to win zillions of dollars. Alright, not zillions, but enough to feed a poor starving East-European animator. I think I may have a large chance to almost win again.
You can also see some of my shorts on AWN now, in their brand-new media section. Try looking under... uh... "That's Demented"...
W razie gdybyście mieli za dużo czasu na głowie, zapraszam do odsłuchania dwóch małych radiowych wywiadów które miałem przyjemność udzielić w krótkim odstępie czasu na antenie Radia Kampus:
Numer 1 (razdwa) , Numer 2 (razdwa)
I'm not really sure why I keep submitting Polish news - there are more people from Australia or Norway visiting this site than my fellow countrymen. I'm somehow always forgetting about that.
In order to keep you, my dear international audience, happy and not left behind I have some news for you, too - Smile! is getting shown on a new Flash-Moviemaking event called FLIK in Washington D.C. Why don't you go check it out?
